About

Earnest by name.

It is an old word for sincere, serious, without pretence. In an industry where trust is the scarce thing, we decided to take the name literally and build the company around it.

How most carriers grow

Buy a truck, hire a driver, buy another truck, eventually build a shop and hire people to run it.

Every step adds a payment, a payroll line, and something else that can go wrong on a slow quarter. It works right up until the month the freight is thin, and then it works against you.

Keep the parts that decide

We keep the authority, the customer relationship, and the coordination. The driving comes from owner-operators who already own their trucks and run them better than anyone we could hire.

Maintenance goes to shops that fix trucks all day. New regions come through operators already established there.

Fewer moving parts on our side, more freight moving on yours.

It means we can add capacity in weeks instead of quarters, and a quiet month does not leave equipment sitting idle against a note.

How we operate

Four things we hold to.

Not values on a wall. Each of these is a rule someone can hold us to, and each one costs us something when we keep it.

  1. 01

    Say the number

Splits, settlement timing, deductions, which states are live. If it can be a number, we publish the number. Vagueness in this industry is almost always hiding something.

  2. 02

    Own the load

Whoever is driving, the responsibility is ours. We do not hand freight to another company and step back when there is a problem.

  3. 03

    Say no honestly

If we do not have capacity that week, we say so. A carrier that never declines a load is a carrier that will eventually let one down.

  4. 04

    Stay checkable

Our authority and safety record are public and linked from every page. Look us up before you call. You do not have to take our word for anything.

Public, and checkable.

Our authority, insurance and safety record are all filed with the federal regulator and public. The numbers you need to look us up are on the right.
